JOY INTERNATIONAL CHURCH - FIVE DIMENSIONAL APPROACH TO MINISTRY:
1. TEACHING: JOY International Church is a teaching ministry. The Bible encourages us to be knowledgeable in God’s word. This means we use a biblical teaching approach studying scripture on a verse by verse basis without seeking the opinions of men, but rather we derive application wisdom from the perfect word of God. Among the various gifts that Jesus Christ has bestowed upon us is the gift of Teaching. Ephesians 4: 11 “And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers.”
2. GIVING: JOY International Church is a giving ministry. We believe that the gift of giving is the means by which we receive sustenance from God as he blesses and multiples our giving. 2 Corinthians 9: 10 “Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness”.
3. FAMILIES: JOY International Church believes in families founded on the God’s principles of marriage. At JOY International Church, we teach you about successful marriages and help you to find your spouse, build a strong family and receive from God the full blessing of family. This blessing of family is fundamental to your personal growth and leads to a legacy of financial freedom that will flow through to your children and your children’s children.
4. WORSHIP: Worship is a lifestyle. Our worship on Sunday reflects the lifestyle of worship that we are called to. Our worship style is a modern vibrant JOYFUL style that leads us to praise our Father God for what He has done while at the same time leading us to a spiritual altar where surrender our lives totally to the will of God. We see worship as an essential part of the ministry helping us to focus on God before we receive his word.
5. INTERNATIONAL: At JOY International Church, we believe we are called for the nations. Our mandate is not to one nation but to all parts of the world touching people of all races with the life changing message of Jesus Christ. The JOY International Church brand of church will grow across Africa, the Americas, Asia, Australia and Europe.
OTHER AREAS OF FOCUS:
USHERING MINISTRY: JOY International Church aims to be a financial resource centre for the Kingdom of God. We will achieve this by having a pool of funds that will be administered for various needs within the Kingdom of God.
CHILDREN’S MINISTRY: Jesus Christ said let the little children come to me, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these, Matthew 19:14. We believe in helping children to know their God at an early stage in their lives so that they would know their God and praise Him even as little children. We have well trained teachers that run our children’s ministry using world class children’s resources to teach. Your child will grow in their knowledge of God and have lots of fun through a wonderful learning experience.
FINANCIAL RESOURCES: JOY International Church aims to be a financial resource centre for the Kingdom of God. We will achieve this by having a pool of funds that will be administered for various needs within the Kingdom of God.
KINGDOM TOOLS: JOY International Church has identified needs in the Kingdom of God to build tools that the church and its members can tap into to build strong businesses with a Kingdom focus. The following is a list of the services that we pursuing to strengthen your kingdom experience.
